Enjoying my role as a Quality Assurance Lead with Cogniphi, myself, Alini Satghare and here are some interesting experiences, which I would like to share with all of you. My team is diverse, consisting of product annotators, AI developers and testers. My typical day consists of overall team planning, convergence of project issues (which are a part of work-life !) and ensuring the timeliness and quality of the deliverables.

It has been a really exciting venture here, working on computer vision projects, where AI capabilities detect, weigh, measure products in the retail industry. While the core approach towards testing such projects remains the same, it does require upgrading oneself to learn the required setup and environment. Happy to share that the test templates and procedures, which was able to setup in consensus with the team, have been helping achieve our team’s objectives, towards ensuring quality deliverables and on-time.

Computer Vision projects have been an exciting learning experience in that they bring one closer to the actual user-experience. It is remarkable to assess and analyse, as the AI software works on products, replacing human intelligence. Cogniphi has always been supportive towards new learnings and open towards ideas, discussions and issue-resolutions.

At the end of the day, I like to unwind by reading, fiction-humour, particularly. P.G Wodehouse is my all-time favourite! I am yet to discover after all these years, if there are any in-born talents within me at all! As a child, I used to write poetry (not sure where’s the collection now !). I learnt a foreign language – German, out of sheer inquisitiveness and am passionate about Hindustani classical singing.
